The top cowboys, cowgirls, and stock in the association are heading our way to battle it out for the championship buckles. Get ready for the wildest, fastest, and most heart-pounding action of the season! The Wild Horse Racing Association Finals are taking over the Silver Sage Community Corral, and you don't want to miss it.
Expect non-stop thrills, incredible teamwork, and pure, unpredictable excitement for the whole family. Bring your loud cheering voice, and come witness the crowning of the champions!

Looking for the wildest way to send off 2026? Join us this December 31st for an action-packed night of Bulls, Ranch Broncs, Barrel Racing, Team Roping, and Wild Horse Racing! Once the dust settles, the party keeps rolling into the New Year with a live-music cabaret and dance floor.

The Silver Sage Agricultural Society is proud to host our 2025–2026 Barrel Racing Jackpot Series, bringing riders together throughout the season for exciting competition, community, and great horsemanship.

The series will wrap up with the Sudden Death Buckle Finals, where competitors will have the chance to compete for awards and bragging rights.
Entry Information
Participants must attend a minimum of four jackpots during the series to qualify. Entries are open to riders competing on their first horse or in a horse/rider combo (maximum two entries per horse).

Home of the
NEWELL PRO RODEO
Rodeo has long been a proud tradition in the Brooks and Newell County area, deeply rooted in our agricultural heritage and community spirit. For more than six decades, the local rodeo was organized and proudly hosted by the Brooks Kinsmen Club, becoming a cornerstone summer event that brought generations together to celebrate western culture, competition, and community.
Over the years, the rodeo grew into a beloved tradition, supported by countless volunteers, sponsors, and community members who helped shape it into the event it is today. The Kinsmen’s dedication and leadership laid a strong foundation and created lasting memories for riders, families, and spectators alike.
In 2022, stewardship of the rodeo was officially passed to the Silver Sage Ag Society, marking a new chapter in its history. With great respect for the legacy built before us, Silver Sage proudly took on the responsibility of continuing and growing this important community event. Under our care, the rodeo has evolved into what is now known as the Newell Pro Rodeo, while staying true to the traditions, values, and western roots that have always defined it.
Today, the Newell Pro Rodeo remains a celebration of agriculture, horsemanship, and community—honoring the past while looking ahead to the future.
We are proud to carry this tradition forward and are grateful to everyone who has played a role in keeping rodeo alive and thriving in our community!
